At the end of the clinical fellowship program the candidate should be able to:
• Describe the surface anatomy, danger areas and internal structures or layers involved in dermatosurgery
• Know about the various types of dermatosurgicalproduces performed viz. punch biopsy, incisional biopsy and closure, mucosal biopsy, elliptical excision, W plasty, Z plasty, lipoma / epidermoid cyst excision, Modified elliptical excision, Rotational flaps, grafts, nail surgery, cryosurgery, blepharoplasty, vitiligo surgery (various types), Botulinum injection, hair transplant surgery: FUT / FUE / Long hair transplant, Fat transfer surgery and others
• Know about the various suture materials and their indications
• Identify the clinical condition and indicate the dermatosurgery needed
• Perform the relevant dermatosurgicalprocedure
• Know about the maintenance and handling of various surgicalinstruments
• Know about the complications of dermatosurgery
• Manage the complications and clinical conditions accordingly
